Due to the retirement of Matthias Köckert the project “The Herodian client kingdoms and the Roman governance in Iudaea” of Ernst Baltrusch was incorporated into research project (B-II-1) Governance and governed Spaces. In February 2011 the B-II-1-Workshop “Client Kings between Empire and Periphery” was given at the Topoi building Dahlem, the Herodes Biography was published in 2012.
