Launching the “Berlin Open Access Conference” on November 19, 2013 the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz and four other public cultural institutions signed the “Berlin Declaration on Open Access”. Thereby prestigious German cultural institutions now also join the list of more than 450 signatories. The object is to facilitate the usage of digitalised cultural heritage in science and education.
