An artificial transportation system will be modeled in order to determine the dominant factors influencing access to a settlement and to make it possible to interpret the position of a road network. This artificial transportation system will be simulated using a model whose parameters are predefined by environmental factors and archaeological sources. An important question concerns how the roads led to interactions. What factors influence the location of a road network? Is the degree of centrality of the settlement reflected in the transportation system?
